Horizon Europe: Climate, Energy & Mobility

On January 27th, L’Opificio Italiacamp hosted an international workshop dedicated to Horizon Europe – Cluster 5: Climate, Energy & Mobility. The event was promoted by UKRI Innovate UK and was aimed at Italian and British businesses, research centers, universities, and public bodies.

During the event, the objectives, priorities, and updates of the 2026–2027 work program were presented. Key focus areas included:

• Energy transition and the built environment.
• Climate adaptation and sustainable mobility.
• The integration of social sciences into research projects.

Significant time was dedicated to European funding opportunities, strategies for building consortia, and the essential elements for developing competitive proposals.

The day was organized into informative sessions, practical workshops, and networking moments, facilitating direct dialogue among participants and fostering the creation of new international collaborations. It served as a vital opportunity for discussion on innovation, sustainability, and the real-world impact of solutions for the future of cities and infrastructure.
