Prospettiva 2029

On Monday, February 2nd, the Shareholders’ Meeting of the Associazione Italiacamp ETS was held at L’Opificio, during which Pier Luigi Celli was elected President for the 2026–2029 three-year term. Celli takes over from Cristiano Panfili, who led the Association for the past three years.

A corporate executive and essayist, Pier Luigi Celli has served as Director General of RAI and Luiss University, and as President of ENIT, in addition to holding high-level roles in human resources management at Eni, Olivetti, and Enel.

For Pier Luigi Celli, this marks a return to the organization: as the Association’s first president, he has always remained close to Italiacamp over the years as a reference figure capable of inspiring actions and trajectories through a constant exchange of ideas, vision, and expertise. Today, in a choice that is renewed with the same spirit that accompanied its origins, he brings experience and new perspectives in continuity with the work of the last three years. This path has gained new momentum since 2023 with the Association’s transformation into a Third Sector Entity (ETS) and its entry into the RUNTS—a three-year period in which the membership tripled and, thanks to the collaboration with over 150 partners (including public bodies, companies, institutions, and other ETS), projects and initiatives were developed involving over 5,000 beneficiaries.

The Board represents a pluralistic team drawing from different sectors and experiences. New entries to the Board include: Andrea Chiriatti, Director of Labor Relations at FIPE Confcommercio, as Vice President; Ida De Sena, Regulatory Evolution, Responsible Gaming and Environment Senior Manager at Lottomatica; Massimo Lapucci, President of Egea Holding, a multi-utility company in energy and environment; Rossana Pasquino, Full Professor of Chemical Engineering Principles at the University of Naples Federico II and Paralympic athlete; Paola Pierri, Director General of the BE for Education Foundation; Michele Rillo, Chief of Staff to the CEO and Director of External Relations at Iliad; and Silvia Sorbelli, an executive at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and an expert in public funds for social inclusion policies, poverty prevention, and school dropout prevention.

Confirmed for a new mandate are Giacomo Biraghi, Independent Advisor on urban strategies; Cristiana Capotondi, actress and former head of delegation for the Italian women’s national football team; and Matteo Smacchi, lawyer and executive at Poste Italiane.

This transition confirms the Association’s desire to project itself toward the new challenges of the Third Sector with continuity and vision, strengthening innovation and social inclusion initiatives capable of generating positive impacts on people, territories, and communities. Priorities include training young people in innovation and STEM subjects, entrepreneurship, and labor inclusion.

The Associazione Italiacamp is the non-profit soul and majority shareholder of Italiacamp srl, supported by Poste Italiane S.p.A., Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane S.p.A., Invitalia – National Agency for Investment Attraction and Business Development S.p.A., TIM S.p.A., RCS Mediagroup S.p.A., and Unipol Assicurazioni S.p.A.
